Summed up cleaning dirty dishes needs an huge amound of energy and stresses the environment considerably. This can be reduced a little with efficient cleaning systems. But more effective is a rethinking of the cleaning process starting with the dishes.
With superhydrophile coatings the dirt-resistance can be maximized sustainably.
Thereby cleaning with minimal energetical efforts is possible and active drying is not neccessary anymore.
Objective of development was in addition to the simplified and hygienic cleaning the ecological reasonable production, the creation of social accepting and a breakup from existing habits by information campaigns.
